Today, I finished editing the Hilton Head Island 40th Anniversary I’ve been working on for the last two weeks. I was able to shoot them in the hour leading up to sunset and the composition was perfect. The colors were great and it was a fun couple to photograph. They were staying at a villa on the South end of Hilton Head Island and we had the beach completely to ourselves.

This morning, we drove South to attend church and visited the St. Augustine Celebration campus. It was great seeing Jason and Lindsey, as well as visiting Pastors Jason and Jessica Brown’s satellite campus. Reagan was really happy to see Jason and Lindsey’s son, Grayson, and they had a lot of fun playing together. Regan has a big crush on Grayson and even prays for him every night. We are going to plan a future trip to Ollie Koalas, so we can all get together again soon. It was an interesting mix of churchgoers and the service was a fond reminder of when I served at South campus, when it was at Bartram High School. Those were great times with a lot of fun people I don’t see too often nowadays.
During the closing prayer, Jason spoke over the congregation and I was reminded of something that I had wanted to do, but, as of yet, have failed to follow through with. I would like to devote time to intercessory prayer. A friend is very involved in intercessory prayer and he has given me some great tips on how to improve my prayer life. He is very structured with it and is very dedicated. I would like to become that dedicated. I think, first I just need to commit to devo and get that habit well-underway.

I started the morning off at 6:30am, at 32 degrees, scraping ice off of my windshield with a credit card just to see the road until the Jeep’s heater warmed up. I had to stop before I left my community to again rescrape the windshield of the ice that accumulated the short drive down my street.
I ended the night outdoors in 43 degrees, with cold hands, surrounding a bonfire with friends from church. Tonight was the PUSH Ministry Annual Barbeque at Tony Fry’s house. PUSH encompasses the Parking, Ushers and Security ministries of Celebration Church. It was cold…but the food was terrific and the conversation was enjoyable.
